Education

The Safety and security of the Paks Nuclear Power Plant is primarily guaranteed by its reliable personnel. Since the particular knowledge required for the operation of a NPP is not part of the Hungarian education system, Paks NPP developed and maintains a separated training organization and infrastructure.

In the following the internationally recognized training facilities of the Paks NPP and its high-level training activities will be described. Visitors with deeper interest can take a guided tour inside the NPP and can visit interesting and technologically advanced training facilities, as well as obtain hands-on experience with nuclear equipment adapted for training purposes. Trainees give professional information about the training activities, equipment and the applied technologies.
