The aim of intenational examinations is to provide the observed power plants with an objective image about all the areas of their activities. The International Atomic Energy Agency is the professional organization of the UN. It makes available its reports  regularly, organizes supporting programs, controls the commerce and utilization of  nuclear fuel, it carries out legal activity and gives financial support for certain programs. The aim of the peer review programs of the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) is to provide memebers with with an opportunity to compare their activity to the best international experiences in the course of a thorough and objective review carried out by a professional group made up of intenational professionals of nuclear power plants. This information exchange is open and candid discussion because professionals of nuclear power plants share their experiences with each other.
